Why we built Deal Scout.
A figure typed into a model, a memo, a valuation file, a general ledger and a letter to investors is five figures. Deal Scout keeps one, with the page it came from, and carries it through the committee, the position, the capital call and the distribution. The people building it have run valuations, waterfalls and quarterly close. That is the work. The product does not replace a fund administrator. It is the manager's record.
Names, photos and prior employers are not published. Advisors are not listed until each person has agreed in writing. Customer stories are not published until a fund has agreed in writing. None are on this page.
Changelog
- 7 October 2026. The public site describes one record from first document to final distribution. Roadmap items sit on the platform page only.
- 29 August 2026. The data processing agreement records that there is no SOC 2, ISO 27001, or independent penetration-test report.
- 7 July 2026. Settlement of a trade requires a different person from the one who booked it. A valuation's second approval stamps the carrying value the rest of the fund reads. Capital-call receipts and completed distributions post a balanced journal.
